I would like to ask how to find the figures in “trend” column, i.e. how to calculate 131.00, 131.75, etc. I checked the answer, it mentions that they are the average of first two quarters, but I cannot figure it out.

    Many thanks

WACC has already been considered the inflation and so it is the nominal rate, not real rate. If it is a real rate of WACC, the question must mention, I think.

So, all the variables should be inflated such as selling price, variable costs and fixed costs.

yes, many MC questions especially related to concept types are arguable. The examiner should think about it in the next diet.

Of course I appreciate OT suggested answers. It’s just my personal opinion and open for discussion. My opinion may be wrong and that’s why I said waiting for official answers.

For MC Q18, I also don’t agree with the Open Tuition answer of D, because Expectation theory claims that the current forward rate is an unbiased predictor of the spot rate at that point in the future. I think the answer D should be relevant to International Fisher Effect.

The answer B is relevant to liquidity preference theory, so I think the correct answer should be B. Again, waiting for the official answer

For MC Q15, point 1 An increase in the cost of equity leads to a fall in share price. I think it should also be correct if based on dividend valuation model. Maybe it is arguable, waiting for the ACCA official answers

For MC Q5, share repurchase can increase EPS and gearing, they are the benefits of share repurchase scheme and also mentioned in the textbook, so the answer should be B, not C. And M&M argue that only investment decision is relevant.

    Hi Cardine,

I thinks the most strange MC questions should be MCQ 2 and MCQ 20, but you can find the relevant information in BPP textbook (I am not the staff of BPP), I just mainly use BPP for my self-study (again, I do not make any advertisement or appreciation for BPP). So, I think they are all within syllabus for MCQs.
