    Dear Opentuition Team,

    Thank you for this forum and your recommendation The Learning Luminarium (TLL) as OBU Mentors.

    My mentor was Irwin from TLL and I passed my RAP (Period 41, topic 17) at the first attempt. With his great mentorship I could achieve such success by spending only two months on RAP as well as was a full-time employee. Regardless my internal motivation and hardworking, the right choice of Mentor was an essential part of RAP’s quality.

    I am so lucky to have Irwin as my mentor and appreciated of his integrity, objectivity and professional competence. His professional approach and guidance helped me to overcome my weaknesses and unfold my potential. Despite the time zone differences, his responses/feedback was prompt (less than 24 hours) and very constructive.

    To those who are at the start point of RAP journey, I would highly recommend TLL as a high quality of OBU Mentors. Best of luck and regards.

    Dear John,
    I have the same quiestion, refer to c i).

    BPP answer as follows:
    FCFF = 167.6
    then estimated value by using growth model is 2466.1
    and finally 40% of estimated value is 986.4 – equity value

    My answer:
    FCFF=167.6
    Less interest paid 78.6
    so FCFE = 89
    then use growth model 89*1.03/(0.1-0.03)=1309.6 equity value

    Results are different. Please tell me why my approach can not be used, if so.

    And one more question: why we cant use tax figure 22.7 (given in scenarion) in arriving FCFF?

    Thanks

    Dear John,

    I assume that I found answer for my question in the link https://opentuition.com/topic/lignum-co-dec-2012-and-buryecs-co-march-june-2017/
    Could you please clarify whether the logic explained by you is applicable for all options , i.e. not just for OTC.

    Thank you

    In the mentioned question the average profit per year $90,000, the capital invested plus the scrap $320,000, correct? The correct answer 21%, how it was found ? 🙁
