Hi Abigail,
ACCA self study requires a lot of time to ensure that you are adequately prepared for the exams. The first 3 exams, if you are not exempt, can be sat by CBE format at any time of your choosing, so I would suggest study for each one, do lots of mock exams prior, and you will be fine. First 3 can be done within 6 months.
For myself, working full time, 2 kids, and other commitments as well, realistically 1 exam every 6 months, or max 2 exams if you are comfortable in that area of study.
With the new exam sittings 4 times a year, I would say that you would be fine for 1 exam per session, but 3 months is not enough for 2 exams when you have other obligations.
Be realistic from the start, and you won’t be one of the many that quits half way through the qualification.
Hope this helps. Also remember to become qualified, you have to complete PER’s and obtain enough relevant work experience. - AuthorPosts
