I am still waiting on mine. Has anyone received yet?
Fiona
June 22, 2017 at 2:20 pm #393800Hiya. I am also awaiting my certificate from last weeks meeting. I am sure the email said it could take up to 12 weeks (I wonder why it takes so long). Here’s hoping the meeting went ahead as scheduled.
February 3, 2017 at 4:29 pm #370941I was just wondering if anyone else has had trouble in submitting their PER statements to their supervisor for sign off.
I have had to call ACCA three times to try and get it to work. I have had to disable and then reapply for my supervisor to be approved and resend the statements. After two attempts they had still not be received.
I called ACCA on Monday to ask for assistance again………………no idea what they did but on Tuesday my supervisor received an email advising that I had sent information to their MYACCA. Hopefully that will be the end of this saga………been ongoing since November.

Hey Fiona,Thanks for your reply. Which study text you referred? bpp or kaplan?
Khalid
Hi Khalid
I used BPP study text. I can’t comment on Kaplan as I have not used any of their books previously.
Happy reading!

Hello every one,Could you guys please share your notes with me, I am doing self study, your support will be appreciated.
Thanks
KhalidHi
I advise that there are no notes/lectures available (at least free of charge that I am aware of). You will have to purchase a current study text (given that FA15 is now being examined). Along with a revision kit and past papers you will be well equipped to self-study and pass the exam.
Good luck

Grey and white page theory worked πI did work for me………………..given some other remarks earlier today, I did have my doubts.
But I am very happy now – I really can’t concentrate to do any work today πJuly 18, 2016 at 8:44 am #326731Dear all
I would like to reiterate what Nabil has written above.
Many thanks to all the OpenTuition team for the assistance given over the past three years. I passed 14 exams first time and it wouldn’t have been possible without the lectures, that I watched over and over again.
I have passed details of the website on to numerous others so they can use.
Keep up the good work!
All the best
FionaJuly 18, 2016 at 8:38 am #326726Pass – 50%. I wasn’t going to open email as I was convinced I had failed. Exams complete, need to do PER now…….

Guys why dont we try predicting what our results will be and then have a forum after results and post what the actual results are so we can see how close we were? I predict P5-50% and P2-50%.I would happily take 50% on P4 and P6, as that would mean no more exams!!!

That means I’ve failed at least one of my exams by the seems of it then. Where is that area actually going to though? (The link)On a side note – have you completed your PER yet?
Not yet – my plan is to complete by the end of this month, hoping to make a start tomorrow afternoon.
July 14, 2016 at 9:30 am #325844My understanding is that an affiliate is someone who has passed the exams and completed the ethics modules. If you then complete the PER you can apply to become a member.
July 14, 2016 at 9:00 am #325837Thanks very much Khan23 for replying with such a concise explanation. I may now open my results on Monday, as I was so sure of failure I wasn’t going to bother. I will hold off on buying new tax books until Monday then.
Good luck to all on results day – I hope you get the results you expect!

Errorβ¦β¦.. means FailedI sat my last 2 exams and the page is white. Where did you get his information from and how accurate is it?
July 12, 2016 at 8:44 pm #325735I sat P4 and P6. Hoping that is the end!
June 17, 2016 at 8:50 pm #323323I am 51. Last week I sat my final 2 option papers. Age is not a barrier, it just provides experience. Do it at your own pace, it is not a competition!
June 13, 2016 at 10:04 am #322703Just wondering – is anyone aware of ACCA having contacted students re feedback comments?
June 13, 2016 at 10:00 am #322702I have just completed the feedback form. I waited a few days to cool down!
*The closing date for submission is today*
June 11, 2016 at 4:33 pm #322426Re discount rate to be used in NPV – I had a thought last night re the 5%. Given that the WB was involved I think it was to be treated as an under developed country and therefore to use the 13% given was incorrect as it wouldn’t take account of the risk involved. I now think it should have been 13% + (5% – T).
June 9, 2016 at 5:11 pm #321573January 18, 2016 at 8:20 am #295593Pass -71%. I was so convinced I had failed that I didn’t look at the answers, as I didn’t want to become even more certain on failure. 2 to go…………………..light at the end of the tunnel!
