Hello Fellow Student,I need your advice or contribution, especially from those who have walked this path.
I completed F1-F3 about four years ago to continue my education.
I have completed my Master’s in Accounting and coming back to complete my ACCA journey. If I am lucky to be exempted from the rest of the skills exam to start from the Professional level, how difficult will this path be?Thank you and stay safe.
Frank.
March 11, 2020 at 7:47 pm #565118I don’t understand why ACCA don’t want to use Pearson vue for testing. It looks like there are issues at most of the their testing centers. Soo many professional bodies I know use Pearson vue to conduct the exams. They seem to have a good system. Switching will save everybody’s time and the hassles.

There’s one in ACCA website that you can practice with.

March 8, 2017 at 6:05 pm #376712Total disaster. I don’t know why the F5 examiner decided to punish us like this. I read the comments from students who took their exams on Monday and yesterday most were saying they had a fair paper. F5 wasn’t fair at all I find myself guessing 75% throughout. It will take a miracle for me to pass this paper to be honest. When I was going into the exam my fear was in section C but it turns upside down. Objective questions were damn difficult. Wow.
August 30, 2016 at 10:12 pm #336407Very sad but I hope you will make it next week on your resit. Cima exams have become difficult to pass with the OT’s. Sometimes not because you can’t make it but the time factor. You couldn’t even get the time to read the question well to understand not alone rechecking your work. When I took my F1 exam, I failed the first time not because the questions were above me just that I couldn’t got enough time to read and understand it well enough so on my resit I tried to test myself under exam condition which worked eventually that was two months ago. I have my P1 in three weeks and I am trying to use the same strategy to see if it works this time too especially reading from those who have already sat the exam. Time management is the bottleneck here. Please you can share your P1 experience if you have taken your exam already.
Good luck amylou1409 let’s hear how it goes on your resit.July 12, 2016 at 1:45 pm #325678Thank you very much sir for the explanation I got the picture clear now. Your advice is well taken.
July 23, 2015 at 1:35 pm #261500I will not advice you to discontinue from where you have reached. You have gone very far and trying to accomplish what you have started will not let you down. Yes the P papers seems very difficult but some have passed through so you can if only you determine. Also learning is not always about working for people for salary, it is one of the self accomplishment every person aspire to achieve. You don’t know what the future holds for you, you may not stay in your country forever and the qualification you have now may be a valuable asset if it happens that you travel outside your country and even establish your own business. I wish you all the best.
November 17, 2014 at 1:04 am #210569No if you failed to sit for your exam you can’t enroll your paid fees in the next exam neither will you get refund. I will advice you to try and take the exam even if you fail you will gain confidence and exposure in your next sitting. Good luck.
