    I actually worked it out but it was to no avail. I could not find an answer that matches with any answers above. I tried to use high low method to find out the fixed cost but it was not making sense to me.

    The way i did it
    (i)rank them based on contribution per unit
    1.product y 2.product x
    (ii)rank them by using selling price per unit divided by contribution per unit
    1.product x 2. Product y
    (Iii)rank them by using contribution per unit divided by materials required for one unit of good
    1.product y 2. Product x
