I think ACCA needs to relax a bit in respect to “administrative review”. Students that have ever requested for administrative review in the past will tell you it’s just a waste of money as I am yet to see anyone personally that had his/her score changed. Yet, for December 2019, Financial management paper, they made a mistake in the “Paris Co” question. Obviously, the system is not perfect neither is it error-proof.
If they can make a mistake in a question that they had enough time to prepare and review, yet could not see it until the exam day, How much more the marking of the exam which is partly done by humans.
Therefore, going by the above fact, I think it is only fair to give students who request for administrative review fair hearing as what they only desire is how to do better the next time by knowing where exactly they got it wrong not giving every student that asks for administrative review a generic response.

January 14, 2019 at 8:05 am #501607Hello Andrew,
I am planning to write FR in June. Please advise me how can I pass this course.
December 5, 2018 at 2:48 pm #487541I guess you wrote CBE, right? That is how it is, five questions are just for research and you won’t be scored on those five. You can’t know the five because they are scattered randomly and the difficulty level is the same with the others
December 5, 2018 at 2:39 pm #487535The variance did not look like the variance I had been studying. Sincerely thought I have any question on variance covered 100%. But………seems this variance is for Advanced performance management
December 5, 2018 at 2:33 pm #487527Yeah, same version. ROI and RI in section C and variance in Section B.
December 5, 2018 at 2:30 pm #487524I never saw it coming at all. In short, I never paid attention to that. Thank God, it’s only 2 marks, but that’s something thou when it comes to ACCA, every mark counts.
