I did self study on P7 exam. can anyone tell me if it is necessary to state the specific number and description of the related standards-IAS/ISA/IFRS etc..in answering/discussing your answers?

Agree with you Brian and Gabriel2. We work hard to achieve something, God gave us great minds and abilities that enables us to do things. He is the source of all good things. I acknowledge God’s help for passing all my papers by personal studies only.
