Hello,
I am citing from Kaplan book, chapter 3 :
“An offer cannot be revoked if it indicates that it is irrevocable. It might state that it is irrevocable, or it might have a fixed time for acceptance, indicating that the person being made the offer may use that time to decide and the offer will not be revoked during that time. It is worth noting at this stage that this is different under English Law”.In this case Mildred was given a fixed time for acceptance, therefore the offer can be seen as irrevocable and can still be accepted by Mildred. I believe that is why option C is correct.
