Passed with 54 second attempt! Might not be as high as others but I honestly worked so hard for that mark.
As I understand, using Traditional allocates more overheads to high volume production regardless of how these units are produced.
ABC suggests that 2 products with same unit amount aren’t going to cost the same (if one has to go through more machines for example, that would be an activity which adds cost).
So as I gather it is more effective if you have a system where you have wide range of products going through variable different processes.
The reason for this development is that once upon a time factory operations were simpler, labour and machinery was the main thing. Now we have wide range of factory machinery and wide ranges of overheads such as delivery couriers and different packaging procedures for different products. So simply basis everything on how many units your produced is a less reliable formula
Got 40 if I’m reading my ACCA log in correctly, it doesn’t say “%” or have a heading but its next to the word “Fail”
I thought the budgeting stuff was mainly theory based, but the exam seems to have had a lot of numerical work involved with the budgeting and I struggled.
So if we know two of B C or D extremely well we have a high chance of acing at least one of the section C questions?
Is the “feasibility study” a study which has ALREADY happened? I would have thought it would only have happened if the contract went ahead?
Because of this I would have thought B and D were both relevant.
They have replied with the usual tech support answers (clear your cache, ensure flash is enabled, blah blah)
That said, this is the only issue I’ve had and it’s possible not everyone else has faced it.
I have just started ACCA with Kaplan, I’m finding the online portal impossible.
The lecture videos simply won’t load on Chrome, Edge or Mozilla.
This is due to Flash player not loading the videos, it loads videos on any other website except MyKaplans lectures.
Attempted to update it and still nothing (yet works on other sites). Awaiting a reply from the support email address. Probably too late to watch the lectures titled “watch these before your first class” though.
