Please share your strategy for passing the exam. Specially related to doing your revision from the revision kit. Anyone used bpp revision kit?My problem is that I keep forgetting the rules/conditions no matter how many times i read/learn it
You must do lots of exam standard practice questions. You can print off all the past papers/specimen papers from the ACCA website. I used the Kaplan Exam kit which had the questions updated to FA2017 rules (I guess BPP will have similar).
Sometimes I would read the question, then read the answer, wait 10 minutes and then I would attempt the question under exam conditions (remembering how long I should spend on it). I felt that way I got through more questions and was able to make a good attempt at it. Eventually the knowledge is retained and it built my confidence.
Good luck.

Then UK leaving EU means more job opportunities right. Can you also tell me in UK time the hours left for ACCA to release text results.it confuse me because am not in UKNobody knows what leaving the EU will mean to the UK. We have to wait and see.
1 hour 45 minute to go

Is it yearly.and also how is the job market. Is it easy to find job after you become affiliate without jobYes that is annual salary. Unemployment in the UK is low, around 5% but there are plenty of opportunities for part qualified and qualified accountants. However many employers are looking for candidates with experience in the sector they operate in. There are going to be lots of changes coming up in the UK with leaving the EU so this experience is important at this time.

Pay rise. How much do affiliates makes in UKIt can vary dramatically depending on experience, industry and location. But you can expect between £27,000 and £40,000.
I have all my PER done and 6 years of relevant experience so I am hoping to become a member straight away.

January 13, 2019 at 9:03 pm #501264I hope whatever everybodies result that you are able to continue your ACCA journey and one day become a qualified account and ACCA member for many years. For me, a pass means a pay rise and more job opportunities with better career prospects. It means more time with my young family (and not my head stuck in oversized Kaplan textbooks).
I have gone from feeling confident, to nervous, to pretending I don’t care. Right now I am very tired and don’t know what to do. If I fall asleep…midnight will come quicker but part of me doesn’t want that time to come because fate will be sealed and I will no longer be able to indulge in all the theories and whether they work or not. :/
3 hours to go until the results are sent by text. Good Luck to everyone and remember never to give up. If it was easy to get it would not be worth having.

Yes – i agree no finalist should receive these especially next to acca results.
Was your last paper also ATX UK?Yes it was. I felt the exam was fair and I managed the pretty time well so fingers crossed!
January 11, 2019 at 2:47 pm #500842I got “get prepared for your March exams” even though I’m a finalist and hoping I passed my last exam in December. It doesn’t mean anything (as quite a few people have previously pointed out) but is a little insensitive from ACCA!
You can unsubscribe from these e-mails so not everyone will get them.

Anyone else who can see the tickbox and had P1 as TBA on conversion tab in ebusiness?Yes, my e-business was not up-to-date and had a TBA where I had passed. I can see the tickbox and previously saw M in the source code.

This is what i see:<INPUT type=HIDDEN name=”p_mo” value=”Login”>
I can see the same as Showdown. To me the coding I can see relates to the actual checkbox. Sacca can u see the check box on the page?

I saw M earlier and can log in to the link where I see grey&white page..does this mean I’m likely to have passed? Don’t want to get my hopes up too high before I see the actual result..That is the same as me! Based on previous countdown threads this was a very strong indicator you have passed. However ebusiness seems to be behaving slightly different to what it has before so I am less confident than what I was earlier today!

I don’t know when they have the results ready what harm is there to release a bit early…this tension is not allowing me to work in office…my manager sees me just surfing this forum and acca websites….:/I am the same!
I think this too but the ACCA is a professional body and they will have checks and processes in place to ensure 100% accuracy. You would expect them to have everything ready a few days before and not leave it to the last minute, like we do with our studying :).
It doesn’t make things easier for us but they are clear about when results will be released and they always deliver when they say they will!

I can still login to the white and grey page but e-business has gone back to normalI am the same, ebusiness has reverted back but I can log in to the white and grey page. Maybe now ACCA just run a trial import to check it all works as it should and then change it back.

So In summaryStep 1 – I logged into e-business using my Student number and pass code.
Step 2 – I clicked on 1 of 4 options on the left “change password”
Step 3 – I changed source using CTRL U
Step 4 – I scrolled down to line 178 where it stated the below<INPUT TYPE=”HIDDEN” NAME=”p_membertype” VALUE=”M”>
Does anyone know what this means??????
This means that you have moved from the ACCA Student Database, to the ACCA Members Database after they have uploaded the December sitting results. This indicates that you have passed your final exam(s) and based on previous countdown threads it is pretty much a guarantee.

Does anyone on here know when the ACCA will publish the answers to the December exam on their past papers section of the ACCA site? PleaseeeeeeeeeeI saw on a previous post that the answers and the examiners report are not published until after the results are released.
January 10, 2019 at 8:00 am #500545Congrats.
I failed ATX last time with 49 🙁 and this time I felt I did much better so I was a little bit confident, but with the P exams you never know!!
I will be a little bit more comfortable now until midnight Sunday.
January 10, 2019 at 7:55 am #500538Hi, I am in UK and mine has updated to show M and tick box at around 7.30am. I checked at 6.30am and no update but now it has.
It has taken me soooo long and been such a journey but never give up.
