I had a telephone call from one of the Kaplan tutors. We have devised a plan.

Mar 2020: F6
Jun 2021: F7 & F8
Sep 2021: F9

He thinks I should be able to obtain a full time job even without accounting experience as a part qualified accountant as I would have completed the Skills stage.

Acccountancy has been making me miserable. But at least I have a clear strategy now.

Thanks Kim. I’ve actually looked at those pages already. The problem is I don’t have accountancy work experience. The roles listed on the ACCA Careers section are for people already working in accountancy who are part qualified. Positions with accountancy recruiters (Robert Half, Reed Accountancy etc…) are the same. I spoke to a Kaplan tutor and they said contact firms directly.
I’ve already contacted approximately 50 local small firms. They have all said they do not have vacancies.

I can continue to complete my ACCA independently. But what do I do when I’m qualified.

I do not wish to abandon my ACCA but I feel concerned about my future.
