Hey,
I was in the same predicament a few months back. I finished an MSc in management and was unsure what exemptions I would get. It was a difficult situation since I would only find out if I got exemptions and how many, unless I signed up as a student and submitted my MSc certificate. I was considering ACCA and ICAEW, but it was impossible to compare without knowing the exemptions.
I ended up signing up to CIMA after contacting them several times about the issue of not being able to find out unless I registered for CIMA. The refund policy for registration is 14 days but it can take up to 21 days to find out what exemptions you have (not a nice situation to be in). Thankfully they replied within 7 days with the exemptions I would get. I thought I’d get 2 or 3 but I ended up getting over 9!
I would also mention that you don’t pay for exemptions with CIMA, which differentiates it from ACCA and ICAEW. Hopefully this helps anyone in the same situation as us.
