Ya I thought it was 2018 but I cant seem to find it on the website!
Its not under ACCA changes which you would imagine it should be!Hello,
I’m sitting this paper in December which is a repeat.
Just wondering could someone tell me the topics that came up please?

Failed quiet miserably with 38% but i was expecting this result, although I put a lot of work into F9 I just could not seem to grasp it and found it very tough!!I I knew going in I did not have enough basic knowledge!! Any tips from those who passed?! what study resources did you use? any one in particular that breaks it down very well that i could use for my resit?
I will not resit in September I think as I it was not a marginal fail and I know i need to go back to basics!!Passed with 51 a very close call, but very happy as i thought I had failed it!!!
Maybe so!! I read the question that the same cost mark up was applied to both services so I presumed both cost the same when the same mark up was added!! As I said open to correction it’s good to hear what others thought!!
I am no expert and open to correction but in the abc question they used cost as a mark up , yet both services were priced at $110 which would leave you to believe they two services costed the same with absorption costing!! However when you worked out the cost using abc they did not cost the same , one was 70 something and the other 80 something!! I think the key here was that the same supplier had to provide bother services to the hospital by law!! So as customers were complaining hazardous waste was too expensive it should implement abc so keep customers happy because if they lost customers due to the high cost of hazardous waste they lost them for the other service IW also!! This was the only question I faired well on I think!!! As I said I’m open to correction !!!
Passed with 64% this was my second attempt at it. I scored 49% in the first sitting and was very disappointed!! My advice to any one who has failed is exam papers exam papers exam papers!!!! although this sounds obvious I now know I did not do enough of these for my first attempt!!! I really do think this is the key to success now! As for reviewing papers , you are wasting both your time and money!
Firstly you pay for a re check where they actually just check the marks were added up correctly and then you have to pay again for a review of your work! My lecturer told me there was no point, its all just to make money. ACCA will not admit they were wrong and up your marks to a pass! Dont worry about it 🙂Question six? I said it was material and pervasive as I felt it would affect several areas of the financial statements including expenses etc and therefore felt it was not isolated to one area? What did other people think ? I am unsure!!!
Oh I am not looking for any award!! 50% will do just fine! (I failed with 49% in June)
And apparently its my exam technique is the problem! I just wanted to make sure I used my time correctly! Thank you 🙂
