Hey folks.
I passed on my 8th attempt at ATX. Now fulfilled a dream, an affiliate and will be qualified soon! Talk about a mind blank over the past!.
If i had advice for anyone one away and struggling:1. If you need to take time away – DO IT! Covid delayed my time but it gave me time away form the book and the constant dread of studying.
2. Use Neil Da Costa on LinkedIn. I bought his £99 condensed notes – it HELPS!!!! Much better than the huge Kaplan and BPP books (especially the study texts).
3. I dont know about anyone else but my approach to past paper questions is to write the answers out after reading the question. Not everyones approach but it worked for me up until ATX but my method didnt change leading up to the exam.
4. Answer every question. Even if its rubbish. Answer it. In the past i would always be bad at time keeping and miss part D or something – be brutal and stick to the time limits per mark!
As you can imagine im on cloud 9 so im away back to bed! haha If anyone needs more advice – drop me a reply/message!
Well done to all! ATX is not easy.
January 14, 2018 at 4:01 pm #429172I clicked on your link and i got an error message….i did not sign in. I was not signed in as i went onto the ACCA website and was required to sign in. The link itself generates the error message clearly as i was not signed into ACCA at all.
These theories are not worth 15 pages. The link theory in particular does not work.
Move on people. Don’t waste your time.
September 30, 2017 at 7:14 pm #409090I tried it today and got an error message.
I don’t think the theory is valid and no one on this forum has ever proven to me otherwise lol
September 5, 2017 at 12:04 am #405546I would never leave a exam hall before it finishes.
I have sat many exams and have never seen anyone leave before the end.

Credit – CreditorApril 17, 2017 at 11:05 am #382052Appears to link theory is correct as i got it in december and failed and sadly i failed again.
My result was a lot better this time round which makes it even more gutting!

April 3, 2017 at 8:12 pm #380025Depends on if you’ve sat ACCA exams before…if not…I’d doubt anyone would be ready for a P level exam.
It is the ‘easiest’ P paper though but it is a shock in terms of volume etc.
January 15, 2017 at 4:12 pm #366757Yet you have seen your certs.
I see the error message.
January 15, 2017 at 4:06 pm #366753A photo of the grey? lol
January 15, 2017 at 3:44 pm #366738For those that get a ‘grey page’…can you upload a photo?
Also – upload a photo of these saved certificates to prove it haha.
Just remove your number…July 31, 2016 at 1:48 pm #330408Reading the examiners reports is always good to do also!
Mentions the topics that came up.
July 31, 2016 at 1:44 pm #330405Make notes on every topic. – these notes should be concise and focus on main points.
Do every exam paper.
If you are in practice – bring in your audit experience.
