Don’t let any one fool you that P4 is not hard. The examiner can come from any angle when setting Question 1. For instance, in the December 2017 exam, the examiner caught candidates unaware by doing a different thing. I will advise you to treat all the syllabus.

please, can you juxtapose and clarify the difference between seal island co and Lignum co.

    1) In Seal co, the annuity discount factor was multiplied by the discounted factor for 10% in year 3

    2) whereas, in Lignum co, the annuity discount factor was multiplied by the discount factor of 7.65% for year 3, instead of 12% as given in the question.

Don’t worry may be when ACCA starts giving out 49% you would appreciate them better. Don’t know why some are saying ACCA is giving out free marks.

still wondering why people are talking about AAA or tuckman model ? The examiner wants a different thing. A fresh air is needed.

    you are wrong.

    re order cost is 20000 x 20 divided by 400= 1000
    holding cost is 400 x 5 divided by 2 = 1000
    Total inventory cost 2000

    good luck

I applied six sigma on Question 3A in providing solution to the short term issue while I used the 7Ps element for Question 3B. Question 4B looked confusing, but I used change contextual factors. Hope all is well!
