Hello everyone,
When you go ‘My ACCA’ under the category ‘ETHICS & PROFESSIONALISM’ you will see two sub-categories :
i) ‘Access foundation in professionalism module’
ii) ‘Request Professional Ethics module’Some details about the content of these two categories (at least this my understanding, but if I am wrong, please feel free to correct)
i) ‘Access foundation in professionalism module’
This is an ‘optional’ online module but highly recommended before you go on to do the ‘Professional Ethics module’. THIS WILL HELP YOU TO GRASP THE BASIC CONCEPT ABOUT ETHICS.
So, you DO NOT GET A DIPLOMA for completing the foundation in professionalism module. Instead you will just be able to see in your current status (along with all your exams and PER summary) that you have completed this module.
I discovered this fact some weeks ago after already spending some hours trying to answer correctly the foundation in professionalism (which at the end I did with over 70 %), as I thought that this was the ‘Professional Ethics module’.
ONE ADVISE TO SAVE TIME consists in writing down your answer into word for the part where you have to enter free text so that if you fail and have to take the ending test again and again (Like I did before passing) you do not need to write it all again and can just copy paste it.i) ‘Request Professional Ethics module’
This is the ‘Famous’ Professional Ethics module which is MANDATORY to complete at the latest before applying for membership. It is composed of 9 separated steps which are quite convenient if you don’t have time to complete it all at once. The beginning is just exposing you the concepts and then you have a test to answer to. I would highly recommend to USE YOUR OWN WORDING while answering the last test as the answers are very closely monitored by the ACCA and you could get into trouble if you just paraphrase.
After completing it you will receive the ‘famous’ Diploma. You can find more information on the ACCA official website by following the link below

I already sat some ACCA exams and from what I have seen so far and can tell you that:
1 – you have one exam paper which you have to give back at the end of the exam and a separate answer booklet
2- the exam paper is printed double side
3 – the answer paper have lets say around 10 pages where you have to write at the top the question you are answering to, but should you need additionnal papers that’s no problem you can get some extra pages, I did ask for some at my last exam
4 – The answer booklet is paper line
5 – no extra blank paper if offered for calculation but you can write directly on the subject, that’s what I usually do and so far it was not a problem.Good luck for the exam!
