September 2, 2021 at 1:26 pm #633977I find these topics a bit confusing although may be very simple to others
For the ear what I find confusing is on the book for quarterly sometimes the square is 4 and sometimes 0.25 so I get doubt if I should do 1.147 to square 0.50 or 2 or 6? and then -1
For the variance correct like this?
20×8 = 760 n=40
40×31=124028+31 = 59 so mean = 59/40 = 1.475
than variance is square root (59-1.475) squared division 40?
September 2, 2021 at 1:19 pm #633974I came across this question recently it goes like this
production standard selling price 80/unit
production standard contribution 18/unitsales volume 3600A
if use absorption 2000AWhat is absorption cost/unit
Ans are 8, 70, 52, 62Is it correct like this?
absortion costing = standard selling price marginal costing = contribution so ignore
so you do 3600 + 2000 division 80 = standard cost – correct?
August 31, 2021 at 8:09 pm #633713Thankyou, now I say how easy it is. Already did watch some of your lecutres of other topics and I finding them very helpful.
Also to provide all of this material for free, wow, I am sure many people are thanking you, starting with me, as this qualification is super costly.August 31, 2021 at 7:20 pm #633705Thank you for your reply.
Absorption profit is 47200. I need to find what profit would be if marginal was used.
Inventory is 4500
Increase in finished goods = 600
fixed production overhead = 7.50/unit
fixed production overhead absorbed = 3750I think by reading your reply I should do 4500 + 600 x 7.50? but how do you use the 3750 ?
