December 2, 2015 at 3:34 am #286867Okay Mike,
Yr 2 costs (500+40+600)= 1,140 – 1,000 = (140,000) loss
Yr 1 profit – 20,000 + (140,000) = (160,000)loss cumulativeYr 2 costs-Yr 1 costs = 340,000 + 160,000 = (510,000)
Yr 2 Revenue (650-300) = 350 – costs 510 = (160)
then Yr2 costs 510 + Yr 1 costs 240 = (750) cumulative.
I hope my interpretation is correct?
December 1, 2015 at 8:56 pm #286831Yes I did read that, but I am getting a forecast loss of $115,000 in Yr 2, not $160,000 or $140,000? So therefore my Yr 3 figures are incorrect as well.
June 6, 2014 at 12:17 am #174485I think it was a fair paper. All topics were topics I studied for but as usual time mgmt was a factor. I know I handled q4-corporate governance fairly well, but you never know with ACCA examiners where F8 is concerned. Hope to pass of course. Wish everyone the best of luck!
June 2, 2014 at 8:22 pm #172996I went a little blank on linear programming but got x=20,000 and y=66,0000. i had both the program stage and test stage as the slack resources. Not sure how I did with transfer pricing although I thought I studied pretty well for it. I was in the middle of doing the sales quantity contribution variance when we told to stop writing. With that being said, I still believe that I did enough to pass!
