I think I got that wrong – only positive cash flows are used?
I got confused by the examples in the lectures.
As in one example we were given the cost of capital but in the other, we needed the market value (the negative cash flow) to calculate IRR (cost of capital).
Why in the second example in chapter 11 was the market value an outflow at time 0? It didn’t state this in the question.

October 8, 2019 at 8:49 pm #548389I would say it is possible to attempt all of the Section C questions, however I normally do one or two on each topic in my kaplan study kit.

March 3, 2019 at 9:36 pm #507319I have ordered the Kaplan exam kit for paper F6 – Financial Act 2018 for June 2019 exams onwards. I was wondering if this is the correct study support for this exam – i.e. are these lectures and the study kit the only materials needed to pass?
March 3, 2019 at 9:32 pm #507318Thank you very much for the lectures uploaded so far for June 2019 exams. The style of the lectures is clear and well organised. I do have the same query as Ewa above – was wondering when the rest of the lectures would be available?
