Sigh,,.. just sigh.
It was an ok paper for me, but due to some traffic getting to park at the exam centre and the exam staff setting the clocks 5 minutes earlier than regular time, I didn’t fill out the cover before I started as I got there as soon as they said begin. 😐
Time ran out just as I was filling out the cover sheet of the answer booklet. All I got in was my name and student ID …. Just sigh…I have no idea if they’ll even mark my paper now or if I just wasted the session….. *sob*

December 9, 2015 at 6:50 pm #289873I had acute sinusitis and upper respiratory tract infection for the June 2015 sitting. I was out for a week and submitted my medical certificates from the doctor and corresponded with ACCA, but all for nothing. They did not accept my medical reason so I had to pay again…
March 15, 2015 at 3:28 pm #232474Hello,
This is an online work group. You need to convert our session schedule to your time zone. It has been a few weeks in progress but feel free to join in still. We are now at Part C of the syllabus. All we need to add you is your email and your commitment to participate. 🙂
December 8, 2014 at 5:33 pm #219472I did questions 1, 2 and 4. Too little time to do too much.
Used mainly the Ashridge model for 1. For the airport my gearing was high, and ROCE was lower than avg., current ratio was par and acid test was low. The effective cost of land was almost 25% cheaper per hectare than that for warehousing so I looked at possibly purchasing for land acquisition and using in the successful storage co.
Q2 ended up jumbled for me. I accidentally gave suggestions for the call center as if it was internal… oops. 🙁 . Otherwise I used Hammond and suggested automation, online customer self services and training of staff.
Q3 only part a. Major issue was transport in and out. Strength in marketing and strategy in after sales services with brand promo. Ran out of time for part b. 🙁June 8, 2014 at 10:10 pm #175283I’m not sure if I understand your question or answering correctly but my understanding is that the change in question is the change from SteelTown City Council having an internal IT department to one being outsourced to a private sector company. As such, the question is asking for the influence of 4 of the 8 contextual features of change as it relates to this strategic change being implemented.
June 7, 2014 at 10:39 pm #175090I’m not sure if its different now (as a passed F4 a while back) but I recall our lecturer had told us that the case name is not as important as knowing the facts and principles of the precedent case in order to be able to explain an apply it to the question being answered.
There’s obviously the few case names that would be remembered through frequent use, but for those that we couldn’t remember we were told to just say something to the extent that ‘in an established case, it was ruled that…..’ and then state the facts and circumstances that justified/gave rise to the judgement and apply it to the question. That was my approach back then as it took the stress off trying to learn all those case names and let me focus on the more critical information.
Hope this helps and good luck to you all 🙂

No secret really. I self study, so read the whole text book from cover to cover, and make very comprehensive notes. I then use my own notes to study from and sit every past exam paper as well as all the extra questions in whichever exam kit I’m using. So, just lots and lots of preparation.
Do you work for an employer as well or study full time?
