sir when i do in excel diff method to get irr i get 11%

than i use =irr(sum) of the above i get 11% but the ans is 13% in exam this methos is easy?

hi sir, but the correct answer is 1.4379

here is the solution which is given in kaplan book.

sterling 3 months 5.75% = 0.0575/4 = 1014.375

euro 3 months 4.75% = 0.0475/4 = 1458.62 they get this figure when calculating euro

forward rate = 1458.62/1014.375 = 1.4379

Yes I too didn’t see that inflation do not effect contribution.
I mean I did inflation in contribution.

And there were 2 discounting factor which is already given in qstn . And also settlement discount too

I don’t get anything about probability analysis

Did u get qstn in Sec c where to calculate settlement discount. I mean to offer discount or not we have to decide . That was 10 mark qstn

Thank you sir I understand but can I give u one example as per my understanding I want to check I m right or wrong.

Suppose we have two ways to multiply 10

2*5=10
1*10=10

So 2 is my face value and 5 is my no of shares. 10 is my market capitalisation

So here my face value Decrease by 1 but my no of shares increase from 5 to 10 even though my market capitalisation get same figure We can say like that?

And other thing i want to know that if no if shares increase it will benefit to shareholders right?

And if company sells at lower price than in future they increase the market price??
