October 20, 2020 at 4:08 pm #590822Hi,
Also be aware that you can only take the Irish variant in June/Dec,
If you want to sign of on accounts in Ireland you need to have the Irish variant of Law/TX.
i queried this with the Acca Ireland. From Research there is a lot of cross over with The English Varient too about 70% is the same for the exam.April 15, 2020 at 9:58 am #568324Passed 62 second attempt, first was 35 in december, I messed up a part C question in March too but had enough in the rest. What worked for me second time around.
Put more emphasis on part C. I started with Part C second time around and probably spent more time than I should have on it.
Study past exam papers especially part C always similar questions come up and I found learning and understanding variances fully was a great benefit. I only uses OT and ACCA website.January 7, 2020 at 8:55 pm #557090Hi I did Tax in December and used the Paula Byrne and the Irish law and practice book I mentioned previously, These are more than enough IMO, the course is pretty standard you can practice what type of questions will come up. These two books along with looking at past papers and types of question will be enough to pass it.
