Jerma ! Since you have asked, i didn’t get that nasty email and i am a finalist. I pray to Almighty its a good sign, though i dont beleive on such theories as been through these a lot of times. By the way the thread is only adding to the confusion and misery of result awaiting candidates. For funs sake its great, appreciate it .As to quote, “The only thing certain is that nothing is certain” 😛
I just read the posts above my post on this same page and felt like a “confession” is going on, especially with the tone of the questions like did you do this , have you seen this.. :D. “How the hell could you disprove the link theory it couldnt be.. Man that means i have failed. lol”. Just joking , no offense to anybody.
Guys dont fool urself by using the link theory. I am quoting a user “wmorris”. The takeaway is self explanatory.

Until you get that email/text message on Saturday morning you don’t know if you’ve failed or passed regardless of any of these things. My ERS is dated 13th July. I sat P5 only (final outstanding paper) but did not feel it went well. Results of using aforementioned links are as follows:Using this link I see https://portal.accaglobal.com/portal/page/portal/ACCA_PORTAL_PAGES/ACCA_STUDENTS I see white and grey pages.
Using this link https://www.acca-business.org/pls/ecommerce/elopl001.p_login with a message asking if I want to be include in the passed finalists list. When clicked to yes it says “Your name has been included in the passed finalists list. To remove your name from the list, please check the box below and click `save’.”
Using this link looks completely normal https://portal.accaglobal.com/portal/page/portal/ACCA/Acca%20Portal
https://portal.accaglobal.com/portal/page/portal/ACCA_PORTAL_PAGES/ACCA_AFFILIATES This link gives “ERROR You do not have permission to perform this operation (WWC-41415)”

And dont think about using acca-business link,they have already fixed it. 😛

Seeing your counter everytime baffles me !.. :D. I am sure a lot of other guys here would react in a same manner. I wish everyone luck!.I would say all of this “Signals” in anticipation is crap. I would advise everyone here not to use such links (e.g link theory) and others as ACCA monitors everyone’s activity on myacca and they could remove you from register or send a warning at minimal. Besides, the link theory has already been proven wrong a couple of times. So lets just wait patiently for the exam results. May Almighty bless all of us a pass this time especially to people who sat the hardest of all i.e P4. Our perseverence shall certainly bear fruit one day. Amen

Agree Samwill84. P4 is the trickiest in all of ACCA no doubt.How did it go?. I am worried about Question 1. The rest two questions i managed to do quite well with the grace of God. I pray to Almighty to grant you and me 50 marks.

when they write equity beta its always the one which has finanical risk. When examiner says the “quoted beta” you need to see if it the company has any debt. If this is the case then its equity beta. When they say asset beta or all-equity financed beta it is asset beta because “all equity financed” means no debt right? and so when there is no debt no financial risk and therefore it is called asset beta. You can also analyze in relation to circumstances of scenario. Here you need to find the Base case NPV which is discounted using ungeared cost of equity so the beta you need is asset beta.

oooooooh! .. Mr admin got a a little heat on the fry.. would u plz open ur eyes?????so that ur able to see that a lot of other users are also having problems accessing the chat including some of my friends here and i have also tried with my various other Ids 😉 and it says ” you dont have access to use this chatroom! ” . I would have attached a screen shot of the problem to make u believe but since u changed the interface it is not letting me upload a screenshot. And by the way DONT LIE in your professional capacity as an admin here and ACCEPT the problem while u got it.

Mr.admin the matter has still not been resolved. Are you sure that problem is with the server or is it that you want it to shut off completely and don’t wanna disclose them to members fearing to loose people ?. Kindly resolve it cuz apart from chat sessions this site is **hit!… 😉
