Actually videos in the ACCA website shows the same problem – cannot play in ACCA, have to go to youtube and search it – but it’s very strange that the video should be in the first 5 or 10 ones, but this time I have to scroll down far to find it. So there might be something youtube.com can do, since the might change the link when update their website.

Would you please help on this problem in Opentuition.com?

Watch the clock, and give each section 1 hour, start from the part you feel most difficult, skip if you don’t know, go back if you have time left.

Also, if you do section C first, some part you don’t know, but the when you doing section A or B, there might some question or answer might inspire you.

Please find a sample question in BPP or Kaplan kit and type it IN FULL, then write the confusing part, so others might help you.

For text book, many definitions could be found in BPP text book, in many cases you might find that you didn’t do it right is just because you did not understand the definition. And also, the font in Kaplan is larger than BPP.

For exam kit, the BPP have many more questions than Kaplan, Kaplan’s question is a little more difficult than the past exam (I used it to pass my MA and FA), and in Kaplan, even if the question have explanation, you might still have to practise for 3 or more times to figure out what’s saying (so as AB tutor said, do not write on the kit directly, write on an notebook or something, you might want to revisit the questions again and again). But once you understand it, the chances for you to pass is very high.

For some part you might need to follow the Opentuition lecture, and do the example in it by yourself again and again. There is no short cut.

If it’s your first CBE, 40 minutes – 1 hour earlier would be a better choice, since they need to check everyone’s ID in front of computer and this takes about 1.5-2 minutes to proceed, if your exam hall have 30 candidates sitting at the same time, it will need about 1 hour, so this is trying to ensure everyone are sitting in the hall, and start exam at the right time.

Do note that in my exam for F5/PM, there is special request that once your enter the hall and be allocated to the pointed seat, DO NOT touch mouse or keyboard unless the supervisor told you to, because the paper is delivering, and if you touched, it might cancel your exam.

    Organisation:
“An organisation is: ‘a social arrangement which pursues collective goals, which controls its own performance and which has a boundary separating it from its environment’.

Here are some examples of organisations.
    – A multinational car manufacturer (eg Ford)
    – A local authority
    – An accountancy firm (eg Ernst & Young)
    – A trade union (eg Unison)
    – A charity (eg Oxfam)
    – An army”

The above is quoted from BPP Interactive Text, Paper FAB/F1 (For exams from 1 September 2015 to 31 August 2016), page 4.

    Company:
“For the purposes of this Study Text, a company is an entity registered as such under the Companies Act 2006.
The key feature of a company is that it has a legal personality (existence) distinct from its members and directors.”

The above is quoted from BPP Study Text, Paper F4/Corporate and Business Law(English) ( Study Text for exams from 1 September 2015 to 31 August 2016), page 181.

As you can see the an organization might be a company, but a company is surely an organization.

Hi, you didn’t mention what paper you are about to sit. Please note.

I passed AB/MA/FA/LW all in CBE (and I’m not passed all of them in first try, some might second, and some third), and failed PM twice. This confusing situation was rarely appeared in exam hall.

Did the situation happed in the exam hall, or did it appear in the mock exam?

If in the exam hall, don’t worry, you can raise your hand to ask for your help. But again, as my personally experience, it was very rare.

If it’s in the mock exam, well, it happened usually, I remembered when doing the official mock exam link of F3(FA), it exited automatically quite often. Just calm down and re-open the link.
