I got exactly the same sitting as you Conor, great memory!! It was hard but sounds like you did enough to pass, I’m hoping I did too but reading these makes you question it haha..
Wrt the close companies, I was lucky I read it as going into exam.. it’s any numbers of directors and 5 or fewer shareholders.
In this case Dorians dad owned shares, therefore he and Dorian became one individual. In this case this made it a close company.
It’s my last one so I’m praying I won’t have to do it again!

Maybe you should stop using the great site that open tuition have provided us if you have a problem, rather than criticizing them over a book discount of what a few pounds?I thought the paper was okay. Really felt they were generous. 32 Ratios is a disaster for me so will be lucky to pick up 6-8 marks from that. 31 was good, think I picked up 15 odd marks there. MCQs quite nice apart from the 5 questions on the IT company, had no idea! Think it’s close but just hope I’ve done enough to get 50. Really think I have! My worry is that the next F7 will be more difficult than that. And if I failed it will be harder next time. Good luck all!
Passed F5 52% so happy I knew it close. That was a really difficult exam, just happy I don’t have to do it again.
Passed with 61%
Used open tuition lectures and notes, read the Kaplan text book and did the Kaplan revision kit questions for each chapter after reading each chapter.
Then did the 3 ACCA practice tests which were very good, similar to the real thing.
