Sorry
January 26, 2024 at 8:46 pm #699148‘Hannah was hired a year ago but has annoyed Jack by frequently bringing health and safety issues to his attention.’
Can this be construed as ‘asserting her legal and statutory rights’?
If so, then I’m with you in that it would be unfair to be dismissed on this ground.
However, if Hannah is simply a repeated whinger, does that fall into ‘asserting her legal and statutory rights’?
If not, then the two year rule will apply and an unfair dismissal claim will not be available to Hannah.
It’s a very fine distinction and requires an informed ‘guess’ to decide whether Hannah’s frequent issue-bringing is an assertion or a whinge.
OK?
January 25, 2024 at 2:52 pm #699066Have you watched Professor Moffat’s lectures for the FA paper? That should point you in the right direction to make a start.
January 23, 2024 at 1:34 pm #698933I get the same, 145. The only way I could get to 125 is if the net current assets figure was in brackets, ie a net current liability position. Or possibly the figures are transposed and the question should be showing an increase in these net assets.
August 9, 2020 at 8:06 pm #57976719/20 material is still valid so that should save you some money
What do you mean “revision kit and exam kit”?
These are both banks of questions – the first is from BPP and the second from Kaplan
There’s certainly no need to buy both
If you meant “revision kit and study text” there are various posts on this thread that point out that you don’t really need a study text
Buy a second hand, previously owned revision kit and get stuck in

March 6, 2016 at 10:08 am #303791I thought one of the reasons was because, until the first AGM, the directors had been appointed by the promoter so the first AGM is the first opportunity for the shareholders to select their board of directors
May 9, 2015 at 4:55 pm #244977Margin x asset turnover
(Profit / revenue) x (Revenue / net assets)
(Remember that net assets = capital employed)
So, by cancellation, we arrive at Profit / Capital employed
Ok?
