Congratulations for all who passed ATX!
To all who couldn’t make it please don’t give up. Keep practising, using all the resources ACCA has to offer – especially their practice platform. All the best.

@Emma Congratulations! I know how hard it was for you but you kept going. Very well done :-). Wishing you all the best!July 18, 2022 at 12:04 am #660829tbmks wrote:Passed with 78%
@tbmks Congratulations!June 30, 2022 at 11:41 pm #659699I sat and passed my first ACCA exam (what was then F1 – Accounting in Business) in May 2009. In March 2022 I sat my final paper – AAA – nearly 13 years later!
Many times I felt like giving up as becoming an ACCA affiliate seemed like an impossible dream.
At 50+ I felt I wasn’t getting any younger. However, by God’s grace, I pressed on and when I received that email shortly after midnight on Monday, 18 April 2022 my joy knew no bounds.I am now working on my PER …
I echo what Eagledave said: Don’t give up. You can do it! Don’t compare yourself with others either. Just focus on the reason why you set out to study ACCA in the first place. You will get there in the end.
June 30, 2022 at 11:14 pm #659696Hi,
I found the ATX syllabus to be so broad (and the Kaplan kits so big) that I decided not to self-study.
I do recommend Open Tuition’s TX lectures as ATX builds on what you learnt in TX. ATX covers TX plus some new areas. To pass it you need to be able to apply your knowledge and have good exam technique.
I would suggest using FME Learn Online for ATX. If you can’t afford their platinum package purchase the revision course and mock service. Hope this helps.

Amen to that! I’m waiting for my AAA results. It will be wonderful not to sit any more exams 🙂
March 7, 2022 at 5:44 pm #650084March 7, 2022 at 5:42 pm #650083It was very time pressured as usual. I tried to put something down for each part then swiftly move on. Not sure I achieved my aim!
Q3 was a weird one on due diligence! Couldn’t make head or tail of it. By the time I got to grips with the requirement it was time for me to move on to the next question.
Q1: (a) The usual suspect – evaluate- ROMM (24 marks) (b) Audit procedures (c) Money laundering and (d) Weaknesses in new client acceptance procedures.
Q2: Completion stage: Matters and evidence/effect on auditor’s report (I think!) and something discovered before financial statements/audit report signed (plan to sell the company).
I made some silly mistakes so it could go either way! This is my final exam so it would be lovely if ACCA would give me a pass 🙂
January 17, 2022 at 11:44 am #646672Passed with 55% – one more to go! So relieved … 🙂
January 16, 2022 at 11:07 pm #64628153 mins … I’m off to bed. Goodnight all. Wishing everyone all the best
January 16, 2022 at 10:49 pm #646276I’m really dreading my results so I’ve created an email filter so my results go into a separate folder. When I feel brave I’ll look at them in a day or so 🙁
December 7, 2021 at 9:42 pm #642997A lot to do in 3 hours 15 mins (scream!) …
Tried to put something down for every part – even if it was only a sentence!
Glad it’s over.June 7, 2021 at 5:26 pm #623718Weird exam!
March 1, 2021 at 9:39 pm #612462I was supposed to start my exam at 10.15 am GMT. After being put in a queue at least twice my exam was eventually launched around 11.40 am GMT (1 hour 25 minutes later)!
At one point the invigilator said that my “camera had gone black”. While in the queue, they said there were problems with my connection – meanwhile I used a wired connection and my internet was fine!
Just when I thought my exam would be cancelled a new invigilator said that they were going to launch my exam.
I think I’ll complete a mitigating circumstances form because I found the long wait so stressful that I couldn’t concentrate properly when the paper was finally launched.
February 27, 2021 at 12:44 pm #611982Thanks, Kim. Will do!

I have an additional PC in my “room/office” where I’ll be taking my remote exam which will be switched off, disconnected and put out of arm’s length. Will I be allowed to leave it in the office? Thanks!

@tabishak I am continuing with my ATX revision (resumed two weeks after the exam). I wouldn’t advise you to go for ATX in December as there is a lot to learn – unless you did TX very recently.
Today I have begun practising an ATX past question relating to group relief, VAT and SSE. No point waiting until Monday 🙁
