    Hi Sir,

    In addition to above query,
    01. Can I use the below abbreviations in the exam sir?

    – Goodwill – GW
    – Acquisition – Acq.
    – Net Assets – NA
    – Associate – Ass.
    – Subsidiary – Sub

    02. I have trouble in explaining all types of calculations sir.. I know this might have a major impact on my marks so I don’t want to lose on the marks knowing the equation and everything. Therefore, please be kind enough to help me out on this sir?

    Thank you so much sir!

I am very glad that I don’t have to memorize the disclosures of the standards.

    Thank You Sir.

And also, I have the same issue with regard to the Disclosures of Standards.

It seems quite difficult to keep them in my head since there are multiple standards.

Could you please advise me in this regard on how it would be questioned in the exam sir?

But still sir is there a specific reason behind it?
Please be kind enough to explain or refer any articles that I could go through in this regard.

Cause I feel like just memorizing the equation will not beneficial in the long term.

The following is the answer provided in the answer sheet published by ACCA

    Futures (500,000 x 193) +Payment on forward market = Future Receipt
    96,500,000 + (38,397) = 96,461,603

But since I am getting an exact figure of 193 contracts the answer that I am getting is 96,500,000.

This is what I am worried about sir?

But sir, as per my answer I am getting 193 contracts but the given answer is 192.92 contracts.

They have specifically mentioned underhedged or over hedged and how it should be treated when doing the hedging workings.

Due to my difference, my final answer is also not tallying

Are you sure that I will not get penalized?

and why is my answer different in the first place…I don’t get it.
I hope the way I have calculated is correct though
