Schedule seems fine, just pls specify the paper Variant /stream preferable in the name of this whole topic.
And please check the dates and days again, as for example Saturday 2nd of nov and monday 3th of november do not seem to make too much sense 🙂 it should be monday 4th i guess 🙂

well, if u are patient and curious, then i suggest you to check all articles written by Martin Jones in PQ magazine 🙂

that will give u a broad and sufficient idea about current issues.
You can easily google PQ magazine and , open archieve and see 🙂

Recently he is writing articles on the quaterly basis, so do not expect to see them in each issue.

But otherwise, they are quite brief, easy to read and to the point 🙂

also if u can get LSBF notes u could print out prior years articles too.

And of course check all opentuition materials on this matter and feel free to post ur questions here if u are confused 🙂

i would suggest a year. That’s the best practice.
Long enough to get some experience and short enough to make u focused on goals that u have to achieve by the end of that year.

I can’t tell you much about Lease.

When i was reading the question , i started feeling that the examiner wants us to think that it’s a financial lease while in fact it’s the operating one. It is one of those cases when it is not easy to decide and easy to manipulate , hence the troubles with underlying IAS.
But i only had some time for part B of the question and didn’t even have time to read part a well 🙂

So can’t tell you more 🙂

I had such a big smile when i saw that SFP was examined again :))) Who expected it ? 🙂

it looks like next time nobody will already expect anything else but sfp 🙂

Time pressure was an issue only if u waste too much time in q1 . Otherwise i would not call it time pressured. At least not like i expected.

My time allocation wasn’t good as always, so i might fail …but it’s purely my fault 🙂

All in all, fair exam , thanks to examiner and thanks OT 🙂

3d attempt

you attempt all parts of all questions, u write on 2 booklets , u feel you write the right ideas and they are full and clear.

You think you did very well ..then you get your result and it’s a bad fail 🙂 not 48 ..but a baad fail 🙂

i do not ask for suggestions that i should improve my exam technique ..i just say that F8 is …interesting 🙂

4 a i list and explain 5 substantive procedures.

b – how new internal audit department could assist the company in accessing(?) fraud and error; 3m
c which other functions the management of can ask the internal audit department to do 7m
