Basically work hard and only move on when you understand the topic, provide 1-2 hours of study a day and ask the tutors lots of questions. It’s a really good course and I really enjoyed it.The group work was really good, nice to meet new people from different countries. Definitely brush up on your academic writing, this will help you a lot. Though you will be reading lots of research papers so you will understand the kind of thing they are after that way.
Remember BE CRITICAL this is not an undergrad degree where they want you to find something in a book and apply it. They want you to to find something and then critique it and find alternative views and find a balance. This is key.

February 8, 2015 at 9:33 am #226564Don’t feel bad about it, sometimes that’s how the cards fall. Easy to say, i know, but at least it wasn’t a massive fail.
February 8, 2015 at 1:12 am #226077I got 73%, and also passed p5 at the same time. I’m now ACCA affiliated. I didn’t really use open tuition much but did find it very useful for the f4 module.

Congrats for those that passed, for those that haven’t if it helps, my revision consists of doing all know questions ever published and not moving on until I understand it and then doing it again. And I only got 63! was a toughy…
