April 4, 2015 at 11:01 pm #240148Paper format has 12 CBE style question and about 6 long questions..
I am currently studying the same and sort of reading 1 chapter and doing that chapters exam question and making notes on how/where the figures are coming from…its helpful.
I have tried reading the whole study manual first than doing exam question but its harder…
April 4, 2015 at 10:45 pm #240147Please dont write inside margins… I tjink it says in the paper ‘do not write in margin’…thats where our mark go.
March 2, 2015 at 5:20 pm #230992i have passed my F4 CBE with 66% very pleased as it was my 3rd time. the exam itself is very straight forward thats if we remember the notes well.
I had question more on fraudulent and wrongful trading- knowing it so well I still got confused with which is civil &/ criminal offence. it was also examined in the Section B as Scenario question
Another scenario question was how many directors public and private company have? just the general stuff from that chapter
Also a scenario on Offer and acceptance by post -again just the basic stuff if offer can be accepted by post.
Section A
-Fraudlent /WrongfullTrading
-Meanings of Terms and Representation
-Volenti Fit Injura/Contributary Negligence
-Can under 18 create a contract
-What is not Novus actus interveniens-so I had to pick the right answer
-Small question on offer,counter offer
-Does counter offer rejects original offer
-which does not form Compulsary Wind up
-Who can sign a memorandum-SubscribersAlthough the exam was OK but they ask same question in different way a few times does get worrying.
I was done within an hour.
Good Luck To All

I think the introduction of MCQs has made ACCA exams fairer for humans as they now comply with human rights..?
