@rmatthyse: I am also studying part time, working full time so obviously 3 weeks preparation time is very tight.
I passed P1 on first attempt last week and I did intense studying for 2 weeks (weekday nights 3-4 hours per day and full weekends 8-10 hours per day). Before that it took me about 1.5 month to just go through the syllabus on a much more relaxed basis.
My advice would be to summarise the content yourself and buy CIMA Aptitude. Work through the questions in Aptitude in small blocks (e.g. 10 questions per area to start with) and then read the solutions carefully on the questions where you were wrong.
Then do a mock exam under exam conditions at the end of the week to see where you stand.
Also – if you’re taking the exam online, prepare yourself to not be able to use a physical note pad. It takes some time getting used to scrabbling down notes on the note pad on the screen.
