First of all consider if you can commit 2-3 hours a day for every single day. What about weekends, holidays? From my experience there are some unexpectd situations when you need to skip a day you planned for prepartion of RR. You can answer based on how do you prepare to ACCA exams. Are you studying every day o rare there shorter or longer breaks?
I would recommend to choose period 40 for your submission. Unless there are any other circumsances that will not allow you to do so.

Final question— how long would I need to get through the entire thing? Period 40 RAP submission last date is 13 May. How many months prior should I start? The answer is – it depends.
Information gathering, planning, writing and improving the quality of your RAP will take substantial amount of time. Therefore it will depend on your individual situation: if you are full time employed/student/unemployed, do you have any personal obligations (family, friends, community). Take into account possible interruptions (holidays, illness, sometimes you will just be too tired to write another paragraph – I know this from my own experience).
I think for full time employed person 3-4 months of solid work should be fine. Taking into account that you will spend some time after your work and most of the weekends preparing your RAP. Also if you are an ACCA student I would advise to skip March session.
May 31, 2019 at 9:13 pm #518132I have passed my OBU RAP on first attempt in period 37. Many thanks to my mentor – Irwin Loh. He guided my trough the entire journey. Many times he challenged my opinions and approach to the preparation of RAP so I could re-think and increase it’s quality. He went trough my draft project and suggested which parts I should focus on more thoroughly.
I would definitely recommend Irwin as a mentor for students who are going to prepare their projects in forthcoming periods.
