Waah!!! I must say the above responses have not only illuminating the broad picture but has delineated the specifics of how the finer details must be analysed. Thanks @bassaniobroke & @trephena for the insights(btw i might still drop in a gain for a qn πŸ™‚ )
    Cheers!A

Hi all. Thanks for the tips.i do have a qn on how to report on my findings:
Would it be ok to say; “During the year the company’s performance rose by 23% compared to the previous year but was lower than one year later”
    OR
“During the year the company’s performance rose by twenty three perccent compared to the previous year but was lower than one year later”
    Or
“During the year the company’s performance rose by 23 percent compared to the previous year but was lower than one year later”
    ????
    Thanks

well it seems like issues take long to be resolved. The students have to bear with such a hellish wait to know their fate.it must equally be hard for the markers looking at all those scripts from arund the world.Do they even check if the quoted companies exist???Highly unikely.just my thoughts.Choice of company just doesn”t matter would be my conclusion.Submittimg in may and keeping fingers crossed

Under bibliogrphy you need to include all the other information that would not indicate within internal referencing namely Author, title of the book,year/edition page number etc.If you want more infor go to the obusubmission page and open the referencing guide
    .Helpful???

hi.it seems like the ms is giving you the right referencing.Just be sure the year is correct of course.
It should be the (Author, year and page if available)

This post above and the response by Eoeglasain and Mike are very detailed, very insightful eye opening for this monster before me in june 2014.
I identify with the feeling described about not being in the mood to attempt or practise the past exams or mock papers.Whenever i complete listening to a lecture i get that feeling that were a qn to come in the exam , then i would get enough marks but come the actual exam and i am lost.
Writing a plan hasnt been easy but i did manage to use that in my f9 paper hence marginally passed it.
Recently , i checked on the iasplus website and it seemed a difficult resource to use with all the myriad of itesm to pick on.Does one look at the adjustments proposed, meeting planned for ,planned implementation dates etc or what?
once again thanks for the post

It took ages before i got the results(the email hasn’t arrived) so logged into myacca and yes i have heaved a heavy sigh or relief after it read pass.getting 53% for me is fine though not a genius but need not read those notes again.Congrats to those whose results were encouraging. For those whose marks were not lucky,do keep the fire burning as you will surely pass next time. Thanks to OT.Long live OT.

No the statement will just indicate the total amount and a reference number(represents the receiver of the money). And if your account is in a different company than the UK, the exchange rate applicable against your local currency.
So it has no information as for what the money was paid for

we need the NPV when irr is zero so that we can base it on as our decision criteria.Remember also that irr as a method has some advantages when making some investment decisions.

It is over now………..It is now the examiner to decide our fate …….Hope to pass cos i did most of the questions save for a last minute rush to finish all questions.
The paper seemed ok compared to past exams;not so many adjustments. For well prepared students the paper shouldnt have given any challenge at all!!(standard examiner’s view on students performance)

I don’t see what is urgent in your question. The industry where all the named subjects are relevant:ans=All sectors except entertainment sub-sector(To be a commedian i doubt you would need any serious investment to be able to succeed)!

Passed with 55%.I think i worked hard enough but without OT’s notes and video lectures i would not have made much out of an unpreditable exam paper. Thanks therefore to the brains and hands behind OT.As a dedicated OT follower i obviously will use your resources in my next papers coming session;F7&F9.Thanks
