LOL, the more i read it, the more i wonder if i actually sat for the same paper!November 22, 2013 at 3:43 pm #147404Hello Dear Tutor,
Looked through another text, and found that the 400 was the sum of the Debt + Equity for the closing amount of the previous year, lol!Thank you.
October 8, 2013 at 1:32 pm #142268Hello Kenparmar,
i am currently using the notes for P5 from this site. Even though i am following up with lectures. I think it should be fine. Just my two pence. find here: https://opentuition.com/?wpdmact=process&did=MzEuaG90bGluaw==
Another thing you might really want are tons of question practice and the Acca past questions are pretty large and sufficient. Find here: https://www.accaglobal.com/en/student/acca-qual-student-journey/qual-resource/acca-qualification/p5/past-exam-papers.htmlMarch 21, 2013 at 3:07 pm #120253Hello Niranjan,
i am a P2 student as well and i think a lot has changed since then, e.g. Revisions to IAS 1, IAS 32/IFRS9 and new IFRSs altogether.
However, as you say you have no way of getting study materials, then stick with Opentuition all the way i.e. videos, and text and ‘m sure u’ll be fineMarch 21, 2013 at 3:03 pm #120252Hello Ugras05
I have found that its better to go through the whole log ( i.e. go thru the study text and practice questions), than to proceed with assumed knowledge that may not be complete or fresh as possible.
However, i missed the part of FA12 and FA11….., are they for revising foundational material or ?February 10, 2013 at 7:32 pm #117140Passed 71%, thank God for his mercies, and OT u guys r d best!
August 5, 2011 at 9:12 am #86206Hello,
i think its very time pressured, i attempted f4, f5, f9 in june and at a point near the exams, i started wondering if i had put enough work on them, ‘m hoping for passes though. Anyway, i was working but you’re fully a student so that’s in your favor. I would advise you take your self out for 2 weeks enjoyment, then sign ur self up for 100% dedication for the four courses. All the best!December 13, 2010 at 3:03 pm #74551Well obviously, u guys have prepared well, i didn’t. Well no point in complaining, the examiner couldn’t have been kinder!!! Well, seriously hoping for a miracle.
@ Shadedrose: hope u’ll not kick me out of future study groups, i promise ‘ll change, lol
August 30, 2010 at 4:05 pm #65249@ individual, i studied both f2 and f3 together and came out with great marks, but ‘m a gard of engineering, so maths is fun for me. now that i have to write theory papers like f4, f5 and f6 together, ‘m planning pretty hard to get a better study schedule cos i know it”l take a bit more.
So, everything is possible, if u can pay the price, i guess.
PS: i’m taking 3 courses per session now
July 21, 2010 at 6:52 pm #65242@ lipuuu: lol, true maybe, but say, aw many courses per session, 2,3 or 4, what works for you?
July 21, 2010 at 6:48 pm #65363the way i see it, f4 and f8 may end up being the trickiest, because its sooo theoretical, one may be lost in the volume of words and don’t get to ensure thorough revision, therefore get a study buddy by all means for these courses or pay the college
