Hello guys,
It wasn’t a long time ago since i finished ACCA-In September 2019 when i received the magic 50% in AAA 2nd attempt. I just want to wish you all the best with your results and express my sympathy to you. I understand your anxiety and stress (as I was in your shoes). Congratulations to all those that will pass and become affiliates on Monday. However, those that will not make it keep going you are nearly there.
October 14, 2019 at 12:25 am #549180Pass 50% second attempt after 49% I got in June. The long road of ACCA has finally came to an end. An affiliate now. By the way the link theory and e-business theory work really well. Congratulations to those who also passed and keep going to those who were less successful.
October 13, 2019 at 6:36 pm #549049The tick box and the phrase for list in the passed finalists in the welcome page is hidden somehow, someway the last 2-3 sittings. Also the email remained students@ while before it was member@ for past finalists. They can verify this since we have plenty in the forum ? ACCA has fixed plenty glitches but fingers crossed
October 12, 2019 at 1:56 pm #548901These theories exist for ages, it’s not something new. As per past finalists, before there was a validate checkbox, what so called tick box and the phrase “would you like your name to be included in the list of passed finalists” in the welcome page of e-business. In the last 2-3 countdowns though these are hidden.
October 12, 2019 at 1:02 pm #548893I didn’t opted in/out anything and in June I didn’t have the word “affiliate”. Now having the same settings as in June I can see “affiliate”. Something is done automatically.
October 11, 2019 at 7:36 pm #548839AAA examiner report was placed under September 2018 report for those who did not notice
October 11, 2019 at 4:21 pm #548819Agree with Laura. It has been a long road and we hope it is our time
October 11, 2019 at 4:09 pm #548814@olair these theories are for ages not something new. In June for instance I didn’t have affiliate in source code and indeed it was a fail. Others who didn’t see it said fail as well when results released. And those who saw it, it was a pass. HOWEVER nothing is certain of course until Sunday midnight UK time. The anxiety still remains because of the uncertainty until results are verified.
October 11, 2019 at 11:46 am #548763No, not yet. Generally this sitting has been quite as far as emails from ACCA and providers. They didn’t even send the usual email “opt to receive the results by SMS” lol
October 11, 2019 at 11:04 am #548759but i cannot see the grey white when i click exams. it is just blank. do you have access here? https://portal.accaglobal.com/portal/page/portal/ACCA_PORTAL_PAGES/ACCA_STUDENTS#
October 11, 2019 at 10:53 am #548756there is a heading “your certificates”, below “certificates” and below the fundamental certificate which can be downloaded. is that what you mean by new row?
October 10, 2019 at 5:27 pm #548691I remember my self I struggled a lot in f5 and still I find it being the most difficult of all. So I would never do APM . I don’t need it anyway…
October 10, 2019 at 5:24 pm #548690AAA is a demanding paper. It requires you to behave like an auditor and stick to the scenario. It also needs knowledge and study technical articles. The exam technique is also important on how to earn marks. My first attempt in june I got 49% (most probably I didn’t practice and time pressure) . Now as far as sitting it in December it’s up to you how willing are you to learn the ifrs and ias from f7 and p2 and also study past papers, exam technique (SOS the most important) and technical articles (the most recent). Also if you did f8 and passed it relatively easy it’s a good sign. It’s the same situation when somebody was GOOD in f6 tax and decide to do p6 advanced tax.
October 10, 2019 at 1:38 pm #548655yes i can log it in. it was forbidden for me once, but after 2-3 attempts you can log in.
October 10, 2019 at 12:22 pm #548628I couldn’t see “affiliate” in June and it was a fail 49% . Now i can see it. Hopefully it’s a good sign, however nothing is taken for granted. At least though i will have a less stressful weekend no matter what.
October 10, 2019 at 12:08 pm #548627i see the “affiliate” in view source page and i can access the link above
October 9, 2019 at 6:59 pm #548532I’m not sure if the page source and ctrl + F for affiliate will work directly. If I remember you have to change password and log in using the new one, however the change password is not available. Tomorrow we will see
October 9, 2019 at 9:40 am #548429yes i am a finalist waiting AAA. I don’t remember i have changed this setting myself either. i remember i changed some of them in the past but i don’t remember if i had “include in the past finalist” so i tick it lol.
October 9, 2019 at 9:06 am #548422Yes i can see it. And it is ticked “yes”. i doubt though it means anything
September 2, 2019 at 7:41 pm #544237How can you answer 24 marks on audit risks based on disclosures? I think there is no reason bothering with this qualification . Totally unreasonable . It’s all about confusing people to fail 70% every sitting and label themselves as a difficult to achieve qualification! Rubish
September 2, 2019 at 7:30 pm #54423524 pts on audit risks, 4 marks additional information, 8 marks procedures, 10 marks on ethics & 4 marks professional marks
September 2, 2019 at 6:36 pm #544221Very disappointed with my self. I prepared technically better this time but the time pressure most probably failed me. How can the examiner ask for evidences and I write procedures? December again!
June 5, 2019 at 5:34 pm #519176I read your comments and I realize that this paper was more accounting than audit. Based on past year papers i believe it wasn’t fair. What do you think?
June 3, 2019 at 2:46 pm #518569One word to describe this paper….annoying Especially q.3
January 14, 2019 at 12:25 am #501370Passed 63% second attempt
