No matter whatever I tried, I couldnt get the right answer for “accountancy department costs quiz”.
Very frustrating.
The other problem is I left acca midway for longtime and now continued again with EPSM. Not sure how I get through this quiz.
Can I get some help?
January 15, 2024 at 8:24 am #698191Passed 56%. Now starting P series.
For this AA exam I had just 2 weeks for preparation and 3 weeks for practice.
Didn’t use open tuition, due to time constraint.
Used Kaplan text book and Chatgpt to summarize book notes.
Used Kaplan kit. Couldn’t practice mcqs and didn’t practice any past exam question.
THANKS ALLAH.

August 15, 2023 at 2:27 pm #689968Unascertained goods & specific goods, carriage involved but no place specified
– buyer is responsible when he receives notification of goods available for delivery, from here on its all on the buyer’s end. Thanks for clarifying this concept.
PS: I try to make things easier and clear for others to read out.
August 15, 2023 at 8:05 am #689945I’m writing in this style to keep it to the point and clear:
Carriage involved and specific location stated:
– seller must send the goods to that specific locationCarriage involved and no specific location or place specified:
– seller responsible for handing over good to carrier (or first carrier)No carriage involved:
– goods are at disposal of buyer at seller’s premisesconfusing part for me:
unspecified goods and specific goods, carriage involved and no place is defined, so what happens in this situation…what about this part?
Many Thanks

August 8, 2023 at 6:59 am #689563Thanks a lot Mike for such detailed response. I appreciate it.
You explained everything in clarity.
So the chargeholder can take benefit of earlier chargeholder mistake of missing registration date and taking priority over it.
Thanks for your contribution. Have a nice day!
August 7, 2023 at 7:24 am #689495I can interpret your post as meaning that you still don’t follow the bit in the last paragraph – ‘UNLESS!! the second one …’
I don’t understand the last paragraph that you explained.
August 6, 2023 at 10:21 pm #689484Registered in 21 days:
Effective date is date of creationNot register in 21 days, it becomes invalid and will be eligible for immediate debt repayment.
Not reg in 21 days:
Effective date is date of registrationWhich part I didn’t understand:
Your last paragraph “UNLESS!! the second one was created and within…”Many Thanks

May 7, 2015 at 5:57 pm #244666I just read through the UK GOV tax official site, that the gain that arose on the first old asset for the first reinvested depreciating asset. The gain defers. When it get sold, then if reinvested on new non-depreciating asset. We can use it simple proceeds cost if it is gain or loss ( I heard saying u it makes loss usually ofcourse, as it is technological ). On this asset disposal we then take the earlier deffered tax to be chargeable now.
I think thats all!
Kindly do correct me if I am wrong!
Many Thanks

Also another advice for me that yet I dont have any experience regarding accounting. My PER is 0 months. So when I will start job as a trainee. Should I search for Tax trainee, if I want to start my career in Tax?
