It is pretty fine. It is material as 1.6 >1.0
June 4, 2018 at 8:14 pm #456172It was 12 marks criticise audit report. Could not do it due to time pressure. I had done KAM 8 marks and time was over. Disaster!!!
April 17, 2017 at 10:29 am #382030Finally done with P5 with 55% at sixth attempt. Was very skeptical and thought I had failed.
For those still doing P5 my advice is focus on key examinable area like NFPIs, FPIs (particularly EVA and RI), Quality issues, Budgeting, ABM, EMA etc. Read all technical articles especially those authored by members of examining team. Do not fear practising past exam questions and look at model answers. Q1 always report writing techniques.Still one paper to go P7 this coming June.
December 8, 2016 at 3:47 pm #362289@yinka228. Yes, I also got grey area needing further investigation and part b liquidity I tested current ratio and found it was over 1 which is OK indicating ability to settle obligations as they fall due, so the G score alone is not to be used in isolation.
June 10, 2016 at 11:39 am #321957It was a doable paper although time pressured. it was my third attempt and still am not sure of a pass. To become an affiliate I need to pass P5 and P7. Am not sure I passed this P5 so I will study P7 between now and September. When results are out next month, I will know whether I do both or just P7 in September.
April 18, 2016 at 11:46 am #311158Failed 29 second atempt having failed 45 on first attempt in December 2015. I think this March paper was a killer. Congratulations to those who pased. Am resitting P5 June 2016. Pray for me.
April 18, 2016 at 11:39 am #311145Passed 53 after several attempts. Now have P5 and P7 to attempt before I become an affiliate. Congratulations to all March 2016 affiliates.
September 14, 2015 at 12:44 pm #271759P2 has been my hardest paper.
August 10, 2015 at 1:24 am #266468According to the new ACCA rules regarding exam entry, the late exam entry facility is only available via myACCA for students who have not already entered for the exam session. During the late exam entry period no exam entry can be amended (irrespective of when the entry was made).
You can however shoot an email to students@accaglobal.com for further clarification on your situation.
August 9, 2015 at 11:34 pm #266464For me to be able to advise you I need to know at what date the September exam results will be released.
August 7, 2015 at 5:26 pm #266111The changes introduced by ACCA to allow students to sit four times a year are good. But they are not without criticism. Exam results are released 1st Augut. How does ACCA expect the resitting students to revise for just a month?
August 3, 2015 at 2:55 pm #265149Failed P3 at 30% second time despite having got 47% at first attempt. Very practical and time pressures paper. Not wholly depending on material we read from textbook but we also need to read wider.
August 3, 2015 at 1:07 pm #265099In this paper most students spend a lot of time on Q1 as it yields good results if it is well attempted. (It has 50 marks).
My advice to all who are yet to do this paper is to revise very thoroughly on consolidation which is always examined in Q1 and read thoroughly the technical articles and financial press for Q4.
August 2, 2015 at 10:56 am #264631Those passing on first attempt could you please share with us the preparation and exam attack techniques?

August 1, 2015 at 10:33 am #264239Passed 51%. Thought I had failed. Failed P3 but the fact that I will not do P2 again seems like a consolation.
Thanks be to God.
February 8, 2015 at 5:45 pm #226945Annoying a fail of above 40 twice.
please advise.February 8, 2015 at 5:42 pm #226943The worst exam result is a fail of above 40. Got 47 and 43 in P3 and P2 respectively. Happened twice over 40.
Really annoying.
What to do?June 12, 2014 at 8:34 am #176124Have done this paper three times now and it has always been time pressured. Perhaps a great deal of past exam question practice will be of great help. Warren 92 the article is good but unfortunately had no time to read it.
June 11, 2014 at 11:43 am #175913Tricky paper!!!
February 8, 2014 at 9:51 am #156712For those who scored over 70 please contact me I need your help. Am sitting this coming June.
February 8, 2014 at 9:50 am #156709Congratulations Clare. That was an excellent pass. Will contact you or help. Am doing P2 this coming June. Let’s touch base.
February 8, 2014 at 9:45 am #156706Congratulations Bravo20
December 27, 2013 at 5:06 pm #153516The fact that you achieved a good pass with F9 tends to suggest that you do not have anything to fear for P4. Go ahead and do P4. It’s a challenging paper. In addition to passing ACCA and getting out of the nightmare, it will also build your knowledge of the industrial world and put you in a position where you will be discussing Financial Management issues in a wider breadth.
