Failed at 27. Still confused and angry at my results. As i thought the exam was very easy and attempted 80% of the exam before it shut down whilst i had 48 minutes left in the exam. I even checked my answers with one of the tutors. So was more than confident that i would pass this exam. Got an email from ACCA stating that my marks also include, marks given for time lost i.e 48 minutes. So ACCA is trying to tell me that i scored between 22 and 17 marks considering they may have given me between 5 to 10 marks for mitigating circumstances. Which is ridiculous. I know that 90% of my treatment for the exam was correct as i had checked each and every treatment after the exam. Not sure what to do. Feeling depressed and annoyed and lost with this failure. If i am failing my exam whilst attempting one of the best exam of my ACCA history, then what’s next.
March 8, 2024 at 4:04 pm #702412Could not have asked for a better exam. Got a question on NPV calculation with, then first question on swaps, and some NPV calculation and BSOP which i could not attempt completely as my exam shut down when i had 48 minutes remaining. Was not able to do swaps and other commentary parts around 20 marks worth exam. Really pissed off about it but hoping to get marks due to mitigating circumstances. As i was making such good time. I would have completed the exam in its entirety. Cant remember what the second question was but attempted it completely. I think it was netting and futures and swaps.
