Yeah I think it said he discovered it so I took that as unprompted but who knows with these questions, sometimes there is a trick. With the IHT yeah I did the taper relief of 80% too. And I think the exempt month overseas was around 190, but I was a bit thrown off by the 10 year overseas secondment. I remember the £40k or £50k question boxes but noooo idea what was it haha, can’t remember the what I chose.
December 3, 2024 at 5:51 pm #713775For the section B VAT reduction question I chose 100% discount and £0 penalty because it was careless and within the timeframe, but I also felt I rushed the exam I might have overlooked things that I wouldn’t normally. Genuinely no idea how I did. I felt prepared but also felt like a rabbit in headlights in section C, I was overthinking everything
December 1, 2024 at 8:55 pm #713665That’s okay, I realised the NRB has been used so that’s why it’s 40%
September 5, 2024 at 5:30 pm #710839I had a financial analysis question for Sansa stores in section C and then an optimum production plan for a Steel company, with a make or buy too.
I think section A and B seemed ok but also not sure I go enough correct. Honestly I’m not sure. Fingers crossed x
September 4, 2024 at 7:18 pm #710779Thank you very much 🙂 good luck tomorrow
September 4, 2024 at 11:50 am #710758This is from the Pre Sept Mock exam question 26
September 4, 2024 at 11:48 am #710757Hi, I hope you don’t mind me piggy backing off this question.
I just did the mock exam and I am really confused as to how the answer is worked out for this one. How was the time worked out? Where did 0.4 come from in the answer?
Thank you.
September 1, 2024 at 10:24 am #710595I have realised where I was going wrong and understand it now – I was using the sales price and the cost of making price the wrong way around. This can be closed 🙂
July 15, 2024 at 7:38 am #708436Failed second time 41%. Thought I had done enough in this exam so I’m disappointed. I think section A and B let me down. Looking forward to seeing the feedback. Fingers crossed for September!
June 13, 2024 at 10:55 am #707203I know I got my overall ROI wrong, I couldn’t get the operating profit low enough. Do you know if we get some marks for workings even if our overall ROI was wrong? 🙁
June 6, 2024 at 4:21 pm #706845For section B I got learning rate questions for a boat company, then optimum production for cups plates and bowls, then another question about ABC costing for doctors and nurses, for that one i just guessed as i wanted to come back to it later but didnt have time unfortunately.
June 5, 2024 at 8:33 pm #706777I also sat a remote exam.
Can anyone who had the ROI question explain how you dealt with the gross and net profit “notes” ie contracts and marketing I wasn’t sure what to do. Thanks
June 5, 2024 at 5:23 pm #706745I felt it was alright but I’m not sure if I’ve done enough. I rushed through section B because I wanted to get on with section C and hoped I would have had time to come back.
For section C I got ROI / performance analysis for the division M (mining) and division F (farming) and then q32 was a table for for airplane engine development price table for total cost, revenue marginal etc. I ran out of time overall but I’m hoping I got a pass! Fingers crossed!
May 30, 2024 at 6:07 pm #706262Thanks for your help 🙂
May 30, 2024 at 2:33 pm #706254Thanks, I understand the payoff table workings it just the TOTAL of “Expected value (EV) of profit”
I just don’t understand where those totals came from of 70,110, 78,385 and 77,545, have they used the probabilities or have they used an average? – Either way I just can’t get it to those amounts.
May 30, 2024 at 8:35 am #706237Hi, thanks I did read that article before posting my question. I still don’t understand how the “EVs of profit” have been worked out in the payoff table, could you help me please?
April 15, 2024 at 9:42 am #704025Passed with 52% second attempt, grateful!!
March 9, 2024 at 3:13 pm #702526I also struggled with finding 8 risks, I could only find 6. Section A was tricky too! Can anyone remind me what Question 3 was (the calculation one)?
It’s really hard to know if what you’re writing is correct!
March 6, 2024 at 5:15 pm #702181Such a hard section C!! Transfer pricing and Optimal production plan, definitely a re-sit for me!
February 25, 2024 at 3:09 pm #701090Hi Sir, could you help me understand how the current cost price is $31.30 please?
February 24, 2024 at 3:02 pm #701030okay thanks!
January 22, 2024 at 7:15 pm #698876Thanks for letting me know! I have just booked too. I am sitting PM, what exam are you sitting for?
January 22, 2024 at 8:49 am #698827I am having the same issue – it keeps taking me back to the “your plan” page. I am worried I won’t be able to book in time too…
I just called them and they have an automated message saying “we are sorry for the issue with Study hub and exam planner and this is under investigation, our advise is to try again later” and there was no one available to talk to.
I will keep checking back on the website and let you know if it works.
January 15, 2024 at 12:44 pm #698249Failed with 49%, so frustrating being 1 mark away!! Torn on re-sitting in March or not, as I am preparing for PM, not sure if sitting two at once is too much as I work full-time and prefer to give each exam my full attention.
January 14, 2024 at 6:13 pm #698018I’m waiting for Audit results. Genuinely no idea if I’ve passed but fingers crossed for all of us!! Midnight feels like a long time away…
