Moreover since Open Tuition has ppl around the globe so Admin team is of the opinion to have more study groups so that more and more ppl get benefit from them. HaziqJanuary 12, 2011 at 5:09 am #75535What is a group leader expected to do?
The study group leader will be responsible to set a timetable and the agenda for each session. The other participants will take part in the discussion. The leader is not expected to explain tiny bits of syllabus as they arent a tutor. All they are required is to initiate a discussion and then moderate the session. Can I get an idea how Study groups are conducted?
The students have been conducting study group sessions since June 2008 exams. Interesting students can see the chat history of past study group sessions. What benefits do i get from conducting study group?
The active participants in study groups learn a lot from them. Its ideal for self study students as it ensures that u r covering syllabus on time and it adds an element of challenge and competition which helps a lot in ur studies! Moreover, this experience enhances ur communication skills, and we all know well that in the corporate world, if u have got communication skills, it surely benefits u in ur job prospects.
You learn team work, which is considered to be one of the most essential management skills and without which its impossible to survive in this competitive job market
It also teaches you the ability to lead ppl which again helps u in ur career. All in all, OpenTuition is providing u a platform to polish ur skills besides providing top quality free stuff!
Which paper should I lead?
You can lead any paper u like, but it helps when u lead a paper u intend to give in June 2011 sittings and which you find interesting.January 12, 2011 at 5:02 am #75589As far as i know, Bpp books are no longer published here, they are being imported!
December 8, 2010 at 9:31 am #73228Cmon Mike u r a wonderful tutor and u will continue to be our favourite tutor! We dont expect tutors to be astrologers! Your contributions to several students around the globe is matchless, mere guessing is not a parameter to test! U have given us several hours of guidance absolutely free and we will always hold u in high esteem!
