Last attempt 44. This attempt 48. Atleast I’m heading in the right direction…. :,(
The funny thing is I thought I was getting a mid 60 scoreYeah I found it weird for a 8 mark question because it was just me listing what’s a segment and what’s not. No analysis involved. Not sure if I misread the question.
Did you guys get the question about the segment reporting? I chose the operating segment rather then the division.
The sustainability reporting was one thing I was actually well prepared for, but sods law didn’t get the version of the exam with a 25 mark question on it!!
It was mentioned in the pre exam ACCA webinar and hinted as its a new topic they may want to test it.
Failed 40% first attempt. Read on the ACCA website, this sitting only had a 37% pass rate. So guys who passed what are your top tips? Ive already had someone say have pre written answers before going in and adapt to the scenario they give. Anyone have any others?
Yeah that’s the one. Thinking about it yeah should have definitely been a qualified opinion.
Did you have to amend the audit opinion in Q3? I went with disclaimer but am questioning if that was right.
First attempt and found it difficult. Gave 90 minutes for first question and it wasn’t enough to give a detailed answer. Ended up going over and rushing the rest. Not sure how anybody passes this exam. Resit definitely coming in my near future!
Passed 51. Thought I did really well and would get higher. Shows the marking is alot more difficult for the exam then expected.
Seemed OK. Answered all the questions but I’ve read alot of examiner note which end with “…and because this detail was missing, they got 0 marks”, so who knows..
Was OK first and now I feel like I did every answer wrong!!! Good luck everyone
First Attempt 42% 🙁 . I think it took me by surprise how much material needed learning in comparison to the other courses.
Agree with Katie above. The 2 15 markers for Section C were as expected. The rest of the exam seemed to focus more on the niche topics of Tax rather then on the usual tested ones. Thinking it will be a resit for me!
