AIA has been used in full for the equipment (£8000). Main pool WDA @18% for the business use element of the car has also been applied (£1296). If you use the long form proforma computation you will arrive at the same answer.

in example 7 we take the full 8000 as Capital Allowance. shouldn’t it be covered by AIA?

there is mistake in Part 2 at 25:11. In the tax year 22/23 the dates should 6.4.22 to 5.4.23. Thanks for the lecture 🙂
