Please tell us about yourself

I live in Serbia and I am senior in assurance.

You have scored 86 marks in Paper F6. How much time each week did you spend studying, on average?
It depends. When I first start studying for the exam (2 months before the exam) I study maybe 5-10 hours a week. As the exam is getting closer, I study more. My company’s policy is to give 5 days of study leave for every exam, so I mostly use that final week before the exam.

Which study resources did you use?
I use Open Tuition for free lectures, I also have it on my phone. Also, I use BPP study text and practice kit.

Did you get support from your firm?

I have a lot support from my firm: in terms of paying for exam, learning material and annual fee, and also in terms of paid study leave (5 work days for studying + 1 day for the exam)

What was your approach to your studying?
I like to start early, so I have time to practice a lot of different questions. I always try to do every exam there is. First I listen to a lectures, then I try to do a question related to that lecture. If it is something that is not easy, I also read that part in study text.

What would you say was the most important factor that helped you to achieve such a high mark?
I studied a lot for that exam, and I started on time

How did you find out about OpenTuition, and which of our resources did you use?
I use OpenTuition for 2 or 3 years, I use Open Lectures, Notes, I read forums. Also, recently I have installed application on my phone, with some short lectures, and I use it whenever I have time.
