Forums › Ask ACCA Tutor Forums › Ask the Tutor ACCA AAA Exams › How do I differentiate the points & marks allocation in exam questions?
Hello,
Hope you are well. First of all thank you so much for maintaining this forum and replying to our questions.
I am having trouble with trying to figure out the number of points that is required for the question.
For example, if we have a 6 marks question in Section B, how will I able to judge if the examiner is looking for 3 points (2 marks each) or 6 points (1 mark each)?
For another instance, let’s say the question asks us to design the procedures relating to xxxx with 7 marks in total, how can I differentiate whether to write 4 points with longer explanation or 7 short points?
Many thanks!
