Hope you are well. First of all thank you so much for maintaining this forum and replying to our questions.
I am having trouble with trying to figure out the number of points that is required for the question.
For example, if we have a 6 marks question in Section B, how will I able to judge if the examiner is looking for 3 points (2 marks each) or 6 points (1 mark each)?For another instance, let’s say the question asks us to design the procedures relating to xxxx with 7 marks in total, how can I differentiate whether to write 4 points with longer explanation or 7 short points?

There is NEVER 2 marks for a single point in AAA (nor as far as I am aware in any ACCA exam).
You should aim to make one relevant point in each sentence. This must be a point of explanation/description/discussion or similar which “adds value” to the information given in the scenario. Mere repetition of information in a scenario earns nothing.
The instruction to marks in a marking scheme for substantive procedures in Q1(c) is “Up to 1 mark for each relevant audit procedure” – you will find marking schemes to all the exam style and standard revision question practice in ACCA’s Study Hub for AAA.
