Hi all, I have just applied for my ACCA membership only to found out that my PER requirement was set up incorrectly on my account. Instead of completing 9 objectives (5 essential and 4 technical), I was asked to complete 12. My PER requirement is used for Level 4 Apprenticeship route but I wasn’t aware there are different PER types, and simply completed what’s was launched on my account. ACCA has now deleted all my PER progress, and launched correct PER version on my accounts. They ask me to resubmit and resign all objectives as both version are different and not interchangebale. Has this ever happened to anyone? If yes, were you successful in raising a complain? ACCA says they cannot help and do not want to take any accountability for what happened.
I have been looking after this forum for 7 years and never seen such an issue posted. I think you need to consider what “success” would look like – hopefully you have copies of all you submitted so you are not having to reproduce from scratch – but if you do not and you are looking for reinstatement of what was deleted that may genuinely not be possible now. If you want an apology, presumably your PER supervisor would appreciate an apology also – as they too will have to sign off on everything again. Your chance of any success might be increased if your PER supervisor were to also make a complaint or at least document support for your complaint.
