In the flash cards of LW there is this one card that says an annual general meeting requires a notice period of 14 days while I have read this somewhere or my book that it’s 21 days can u confirm which one is right ?
Companies Act 2006, section 307 (2a) tells us that the notice period is 21 days for a company’s AGM. I’ll check out why I have it as 14 days
Are you sure that you have replicated the question correctly?
Yes I just double checked the question is an annual general meeting requires a notice period of how many days ? And the answer is an annual general meeting requires a notice period of 14 days

I’ve also checked the question in the English Law Flash Cards and … you’re correct. I’ve asked Admin to change the answer. Incidentally, the same error is in the Global Law Flash Cards and I’ve asked for that to be amended also.

Also in the flash cards there is this one card that says something like if the company wants to held a AGM on a shorter notice 100% of the voters should agree to it while in one of the mocks there was kind of a similar question asking if a meeting has to held on a shorter notice how many voters need to agree to it and the answer was 95% now I m confused if it’s 95 or 100 or maybe 100 in the case of only AGM ?
