How did everyone’s exams go? I thought Section A and C were alright and Section B was a bit lengthy. I got mix and yield variances in Section C and ROI/RI.
December 4, 2024 at 5:19 pm #713832Terrible for me. Section B was very tough. I had throughput & Seasonal variation, cant remember the 3rd.
As for section C I hade Budget control sheet? (Didn’t have a clue what this was really) & ROI/RI with divisions.
Reading online, people had relevant costing in section c but the question wasn’t difficult. And Building block model but the headings were given to them!
Hardly seems fair

December 4, 2024 at 5:43 pm #713854I believe that the non-paid volunteer employees can be considered internal stakeholders. I don’t remember what I ticked for the second option.

December 4, 2024 at 5:49 pm #713856Nope. But one of them told me it was $35 for the maximum profit selling price.

what was the answer to the penetration pricing mtq there were three directors one of them said the price was elastic so i used penetration pricing but my friend said its wrong did you get that question?December 4, 2024 at 5:54 pm #713858Yes, I believe you are right. Because if the price is elastic, the more we increase our price rate there will be less demand. At least that is how I looked at it.
December 4, 2024 at 5:55 pm #713859Yeah I was a bit baffled when that guy told me he got $35. I do think I got an answer similar to your range

December 4, 2024 at 8:29 pm #713880I got the exam with relevant costing and building block, although it was fairly easy the section an and b had a lot of calculations without options majority was fill in questions. The exam was also quite lengthy.
December 4, 2024 at 8:47 pm #713881My exam went fairly well, section c was on budget control quite good, can someone tell me what they did, and the other one was on resorts of yuri and lux, for the operating profit margin did you guys deduct the depreciation of controllable assets to get operating profit ??
December 5, 2024 at 3:46 am #713888I think I got 77700 or something like that as my mix variance in Section C, it was adverse. Did anyone get anything similar to it.
