    Hi Jilly,

Why in the model answer for question no 33

for the calculation of living accommodation benefit they added use of the furniture
even though they use the market value on 6 Apr 2023 which after the furnishing during Mar 2023

    The rule clearly says

Basic benefit ( here it the annual value 4600)
    +
    additional benefit 1530 (m.v 143000 -75000)*2.25% total of 6130

I don’t know whether we should add the use of furniture here and why???

    Thanks,

Use of furniture comes under use of assets for BIK rules.
Cost x 20% per the answer

    Hi Jilly,

So here the use of furniture is separate from the living accommodation benefit??

    Thanks,
